To celebrate the true beauty of the fall season in Enderis Park (and it is spectacular), the success of our annual Farmers’ Market season and the official opening of our Enderis Park Little Library (to be located within our beautiful new playground,) the Enderis Park Neighborhood Association is hosting the 2nd Annual Harvest Fest on Sunday, October 24, 2017, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The event will feature a return of the Enderis Park Farmers’ Market, where you’ll be able to purchase pumpkins, fall produce and other treats offered by some of the Enderis Park Farmers’ Market vendors you’ve come to love. It will also be a chance to meet new vendors. Delicious snacks and beverages will also be available for purchase.
This family-friendly event will feature harvest-themed games, crafts and other activities for children and families, live music and more. Bring your own pumpkins (small or large) to decorate, purchase them from our local partner, Sentry on 71st and Lisbon, or pick up pumpkins right at the event from our farm vendors. Bring an old shirt, pants or dress and hat and build a scarecrow for your front porch.
The official opening of our Enderis Park Little Library will also take place during the event with special guest dignitaries on hand to welcome our neighbors and friends as we celebrate our efforts toward promoting literacy in our youth. Special guest readers will be on hand to read some of your favorite children’s stories to all who will listen.
Neighbors are encouraged to bring new or gently used children’s books for our Enderis Park Little Library and new or like new winter coats, hats and mittens to be shared with three local elementary schools.
There is a Packers game that day, and we have planned the timing so you can catch BOTH the Harvest Fest and the exciting conclusion of the game. (We’ll also have radios located strategically throughout the event so you can check the score and catch a play or two.)
Mark your calendars now for Enderis Park Harvest Fest and plan to stop by for lots of harvest-themed fun!
