Established in 1838, Milton was a community ahead of its time. Founded on progressive ideals, the community was known for its abolitionist mindset and belief in social equality.

The Milton House has the distinction of being the last, certified Underground Railroad Station in Wisconsin that can be toured.

Held the 3rd Sunday of every August, an authentic arts and crafts marketplace is held on our campus. Its a Milton tradition dating back over 40 years that is free to the public.

Arts and Crafts on the Lawn is an arts and crafts marketplace held on the grounds of the historic Milton House. Held in conjunction with the Milton Area Chamber of Commerce's Pork Fest, these two events are popular family friendly community events.
